We aims to cultivate two specific capabilities:

MASP’s Educational Goals

We strives to “create an educational environment where every learner can acquire the ability to lead transformation.” Collaborating with universities and research institutions in the Tohoku and Niigata regions, we provides opportunities for over 10,000 participants annually, creating learning spaces that transcend specialized fields.
The curriculum emphasizes competency-based education, fostering logical thinking, collaboration, and creative ideation. Additionally, we expands online education and promotes credit transfer systems, providing learning opportunities beyond regional boundaries. We aims to become a platform where anyone can actively learn and cultivate the skills to contribute to the future of society.

Overview of Entrepreneurship Education at MASP

The Michinoku Academia Startup Co-Creation Platform (MASP) is a collaborative initiative among universities in the Tohoku and Niigata regions, offering entrepreneurship education incorporating Competency-Based Education (CBE).
This program is not limited to developing entrepreneurs but also focuses on enhancing problem-solving abilities, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills. By leveraging online materials and workshops, students and working professionals are encouraged to understand their strengths and explore a wide range of career options.
Furthermore, through collaboration with local communities, we fosters flexible thinking and the ability to create sustainable value, enabling participants to adapt to an ever-changing society.
